Swimming and Aquatics

Beat the heat at one of College Station’s public pools and splash pads. Whether you’re looking to exercise, enjoy a lazy day in the sun, or let your kids learn swimming skills and water safety in a fun environment, we have something for you.

No one is allowed to enter the pool after it reaches maximum capacity.

No swimming is allowed unless a lifeguard is present and on duty.

Smoking, profanity, pets, public displays of affection, open wounds, gum, alcohol, and glass items are prohibited in or around the pool facility.

Persons suspected of being under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be allowed in the pool facility.

Anyone under age 14 must be accompanied by a guardian over age 18 and must demonstrate swimming proficiency to swim in the deep area.

Parents are required to supervise their children and remain within arm’s reach of any child who is a non-swimmer or wearing a life jacket.

Coast Guard approved life jackets are allowed but not in the deep area past the lifeline.

Acceptable swim wear only. No cutoffs, thongs, or mermaid tails. View the swim attire policy.

Infants must wear swim diapers or plastic pants with elastic leg bands.

No running, diving, extended breath-holding, or horseplay is allowed, including dunking, chicken fights, pushing, or shoving in or around the pool.

No diving, hanging, or playing on ladders or lane lines.

No somersaults or back dives off the edge of the pool.

Aquatic toys such as non-inflatable balls and dunk rings are allowed in the shallow area at Cindy Hallaran and in baby pools at Adamson Lagoon. If the pool is too crowded, the facility reserves the right to restrict toys for safety reasons.

No inflatable toys, arm floaties, mermaid tails, or single fins are allowed in the pool.

No bicycles, skateboards, skates, scooters, or similar items are allowed in the pool area.

Lap lanes are for lap swimming only by adults or children. If more than two swimmers are present, circular swimming is recommended.

All safety equipment must be returned to its proper place, and guests must not engage lifeguards while they are on duty.

No commercial groups are allowed to rent the pool for profit.

All guests entering the facility must be swimming or accompanying others who are swimming.

Do not leave valuables unattended. The facility is not responsible for loss or theft.

The pool is equipped with a lightning detection system. When the alarm sounds, the pool will close until an all-clear is given.

All sales are final. No refunds.
