Police Department

Chief Scott McCollum

As most people know, relationships between law enforcement and communities have suffered due to recent major events across the nation. These incidents have caused great tension between officers and citizens, at times escalating to attacks on officers and civil unrest. In the City of College Station, we have experienced something very different. Our officers have received an outpouring of support and appreciation from countless residents. We are definitely fortunate to work in a community that supports and respects law enforcement. The members of College Station Police Department do not take this lightly and will never waiver in our efforts to treat everyone with respect and build trusting partnerships within our community. - Chief Scott McCollum
