Participants learn the basic skills of basketball, teamwork, and training for the next level. Players are evaluated and placed on teams. Competition includes one or two games per week with a tournament at the end of the season. Each player should accumulate at least two quarters of playing time for each game they attend. Participants receive a jersey.

Each athlete will leave the camp as a better football player. Participants learn teamwork, consideration of others, self-discipline, and how to attain their potential in sports and life. Athletes also hone the skills of catching, throwing, and running with a football and are encouraged to develop positive and optimistic attitudes while staying safe.

The academy is for competitive athletes who are playing high school varsity, ZAT, Champ, and Super Champ tournaments in Texas. The program enhances players’ technical, strategic, and physical capabilities through live-ball drills, match play, and conditioning. The academy is overseen by a USPTA-certified professional with more than 20 years of experience at qualified USTA junior and NCAA levels.

Each athlete develops athletically while refining fundamental basketball skills and enhancing their skill set at the post, wing, or guard positions. Coaches emphasize fundamentals, team play, and increasing basketball IQ with an in-depth analysis of each player’s conditioning and footwork. Athletes fine-tune their shooting techniques, ball-handling skills and team play tactics, and are encouraged to develop a positive and optimistic attitude while staying safe.
