World Communication Week emphasizes the crucial importance of communication in our everyday lives. At the City of College Station, our Public Communications team works diligently to ensure residents have clear, convenient access to accurate, timely, and transparent information about what’s happening across our city.

This is National Animal Shelter Appreciation Week, honoring the dedicated people and organizations who care for animals in need. In College Station, we’re proud to work hand-in-paw with the Aggieland Humane Society and the City’s Animal Control Unit to keep pets safe, healthy, and loved.

Whether a youngster is taking their first dribble or already sinking deep three-pointers, Parks and Recreation’s Winter Youth Basketball League is ideal for new or experienced players from 6-13 years old. Registration ends Dec. 1 and practices start in early January. We need volunteer coaches, too!
