Mission Statement

To serve the citizens of the City of College Station through effective planning and preparation for all emergencies and disasters, whether natural or man-made;

To work daily, on behalf of the City, in providing leadership, continuity, direction, and coordination to those organizations that would have a role in any major disaster;

To promote a safe and prepared community, to include educating the citizens towards their own responsibilities to mitigate and prepare for potential emergencies;

To enable the City of College Station and its partners to respond to, recover from, and mitigate the impact of natural, manmade, or technological disasters, or threat thereof.

To utilize effectively and efficiently all available resources to provide service deemed excellent by the people.
