COVID-19: What we are doing

GOV. ABBOTT'S LATEST EXECUTIVE ORDERS

On June 3, Gov. Abbott announced phase III to open Texas. To view all establishments and services allowed to open, their limited occupancy limits and the recommended minimum health protocols, visit the Open Texas webpage. Additional protocols can be made to help protect the health and safety of all employees and customers. 

OCCUPANCY LIMITS
Starting June 3 the allowable occupancy rate is 50% for bars, and starting June 12 restaurants can raise their occupancy to 75% of what is listed. Click here to view a list of most assembly-type businesses in College Station. If your establishment is not listed, you are then permitted to allow only one person per 60 square feet of indoor space. For any other questions or to request additional square footage or occupancy information, please call 979.764.3570.

STAY HEALTHY, STAY SAFE
  • Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, and/or use hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% of alcohol.
     
  • Avoid touching your face.

  • Continue to maintain at least 6 feet of distance from anyone you do not live with.

  • Wear face masks to cover you nose and mouth when social distancing is hard to manage.

  • Clean AND disinfect frequently touched surfaces daily.

    COLLEGE STATION UTILITY CUSTOMER SERVICE
    As of May 11, Utility Customer Service is open to the public.

    You can pay your bill through on of the following:

       •  call the automatic payment system at 979.764.3729
       •  checks, money orders and cashier's checks can be dropped off into Municipal Court's drop box. Court is located at 300 Krenek Tap Road and the drop box is to the left of the front entrance.

    To encourage takeout orders from Northgate District businesses, the City of College Station is offering free 30-minute parking throughout Northgate. This includes all metered spaces, the surface lot and the garage.
    MUNICIPAL COURT
    As of May 11, Municipal Court is open to the public.
      
    You can still pay citations online and/or download forms at cstx.gov/court

    Municipal Court, located at 300 Krenek Tap Road in College Station, has a drop box located to the left of the front entrance. You can drop documents, money orders and cashier's check in there.

    At this time, defendants do NOT have to perform community service or attend any live classes that were assigned.

    Effective the week of 4/13/20, College Station Municipal Court will offer Pre-Trials and Bench Trials virtually for defendants that would like to participate. Pre-Trials will be held on Wednesdays and Bench Trials will be held on Mondays and Thursdays at 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Click here for live streaming of Court proceedings. Participants will be contacted by Judge Spillane (espillane@cstx.gov), Prosecutor Gavin Midgley (gmidgley@cstx.gov) and/or Court Docket Coordinator Cynthia M.
