The College Station Parks & Recreation Department is hosting the Texas Parks & Wildlife Neighborhood Fishing Clinic on Saturday, March 15 from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. at Stephen C. Beachy Central Park Pond. Free to all ages, participants will learn family fisheries stewardship, how to tie lures, identify fish, and interpret state regulations.

Equipment will be provided, but participants can bring their own rod and reel, fly rod, cane pole or gear to participate. Individuals over 17 years old will need a valid fishing license with a freshwater endorsement to fish during the event. Concessions will be available, but feel free to pack a lunch or ice chest (no glass is permitted).
